Simmons' teammate, Tobias Harris, was in Los Angeles with Simmons and trainer Chris Johnson earlier this summer working on their games and talked about the importance of Simmons' outside on Monday's First Things First TV show.

"Last year, for him, he just wasn't confident in shooting it, but still super productive," Harris said of Simmons. "He's like a deer in the front court of just running and getting out in transition. Can get to the rim at will, stronger, can post up, etcetera. For him to add that element now, where teams have to defend that and guard that and just know that he's gonna be able to shoot, improves us as a whole group."

Recent video of Simmons shooting the ball summer pickup games has been a big topic of conversation. You can watch the highlights below.

Harris was also asked about the growth of already NBA all-stars Joel Embiid and Simmons, in general, with both heading into their third healthy season.
