Buffalo Bills quarterback Jake Fromm had been trending on social media, Thursday, for screenshots of a private Twitter conversation from last year, in which he made a racist remark.

The phrase "elite whites" is not sitting well with many people, especially after the last week of protesting police violence of the African-American community across the country. What appears to be Fromm's sister, then messaged @Ashleymp20, asking her not to make the conversation public. Now that the conversation is public, Jake Fromm has come forward to acknowledge the messages are real and offer an apology.

Fromm was drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, this past April. He was expected to compete with Matt Barkley for the Bills' backup quarterback job.
