It's no secret that Rob Gronkowski has suffered multiple concussions playing football over the years.

In an interview with RADIO.COM's The TJ Show of 103.3 AMP Radio, Gronk says that even if he knew the pain he would endure going into the NFL, he would have still decided to play.

"Oh yeah, hands down. If you asked anyone that played in the NFL, I'm telling you, no one would change it for anything. Playing in the NFL is a gift and it's a blessing and to have the family-hood -- to understand what it's like to play the game of football and the mindset you got to get into to just keep on going every single day."

It's obvious the game of football means a lot to Gronk, but he shares that it is much more than just a game. "Even if it's at practice -- especially a game -- just knowing what we're doing, how to come together as a family, how to come together as a team -- there's so many life lessons in the game of football, I would never take that away no matter what the situation is."

He went on to say that he and other players have asked each other before, "would you do it again?" Gronk seems confident that most players, including himself wouldn't trade what they have gained from playing football.

"The players that are retired -- or are not playing anymore -- or even my father or anyone his age [asking], 'would you play again, would you do that again knowing what football brings -- negative or positive?' We all say we would all do it again. The experiences, the life lessons you learn is just so great in the game of football."
