Daniel Cormier knocks out Stipe Miocic to win the UFC heavyweight championship. DC now has his own path for his career legacy that isn't tied to Jon Jones.  He gets to stand as one of the all time greats. It had to feel sweet for Cormier to not only steal an accomplishment that fans always wanted Jon Jones to do, win the heavyweight belt. Not only that but he took the Brock Lesnar pay day from him. People ripped the DC-Lesnar melee post fight for looking staged. That chaos isn't for the hardcore fight fans. It's for the fringe fans to make them spend their money. They're making a commercial. Stipe Miocic is left in a tough spot. Doesn't he deserve a rematch? Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis put forth one of the worst fights of all time. Tobin and Cima recap the Hard Rock's "Hometown Throwndown". Harold Calderon improved to (17-0) with a unanimous decision over J.D. Martinez. Calderon looks primed to take a big leap in his career. Bonus segment: When will Max Holloway return? Dana doesn't want to discuss Conor McGregor until the legal stuff is done. Manny Pacquiao takes on Lucas Matthysse next week. If Manny wins, does he have one more superfight in his career? Plus Ronda Rousey is inducted into the Hall of Fame. Why was there so much backlash from the MMA media this week?
