Finally!!! We Get NBA Basketball Back!

Finally!!! After football returned last month, we now get NBA Basketball back as well. Even if it's just pre-season style, it's still the beginning to what will likely be a more entertaining season than the last.

A ton of great storylines from James Harden and Chris Paul in Houston, to Lonzo Ball in Los Angeles, to a rebuilt Oklahoma City squad, to a Philadelphia club that may finally be ready to compete behind Markell Fultz, Ben Simmons, and Joel Embiid. But, as far as we're concerned, the biggest story is in Cleveland.

Or maybe not? The reaction to Dwyane Wade joining LeBron James in Cleveland was obviously met with some anger from a portion of the HEAT fan base. But for the majority, I feel as if it's been met with a bit of a shoulder shrug. I mean, wouldn't the anger toward Wade be much stronger if he DID come back to Miami and the team could not match the play they sustained the second half of the 2017 season? He'd be a very easy scapegoat, and quite possible a justified one.

The Miami HEAT did not need Dwyane Wade this season. And quite honestly, the fan base did not either.
