The great Miami Heat broadcaster Tommy Tighe pinch hits for Friedo tonight and is joined by Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald. We get the show started by talking about the hot topic of the day, Jay Cutler and his first practice as a member of the Miami Dolphins. The guys are joined by NFL and NBA broadcaster Kevin Harlan who talks about Cutler coming to Miami, CTE in football, and the controversy surrounding Colin Kaepernick. And we wrap up the first hour talking with Miami Herald Dolphins beat writer Adam Beasley about Jay Cutler’s first day of practice.

We open the 2nd hour talking about how impressive Cutler looked in his first practice and what we can expect from him this season. We switch gears to some hoops talk as the guys are joined by former NBA coach and broadcaster P.J. Carlesimo to discuss the 25th anniversary of the “Dream Team” and his role as assistant coach on arguably the greatest basketball team ever assembled.  We get back into Dolphin’s talk and if Cutler can keep the offense on track, can the defense hold up their end to get Miami in the playoffs again.

Tommy and Manny kick off the final hour of the show talking about Jay Ajayi returning to Dolphins practice today following his concussion, we ask the question is Giancarlo Stanton enough of a draw to keep fans interested in the Marlins, and how will former Heat forward Michael Beasley will fare in New York? What role will Kelly Olynyk have on this Heat team and how far down the bench will he fall? And the guys close things out going over how much Cutler will play in the preseason.
